Yesterday we had a small Christmas party for the staff at GuavaTalk, which includes all of the teachers at our offline language school in Beijing, 1on1Mandarin. We ended up going to a local hotel in Wudaokou called the Wenjin hotel to have Korean food. Afterwards, we went downstairs for a few hours of karaoke, which the teachers loved. Later in the evening, my fiancee and I went off to the international church in Beijing for Christmas Eve service. My reflections during my first Christmas in Beijing?  Well, it doesn’t quite feel like Christmas here, though there are surprisingly a lot of Christmas trees and Christmas carols in Beijing this year.  All the same, it has been a good year for me personally and for the company.  Merry Christmas everyone!
