New Conversational Chinese program

March 7th, 2009  |  Published in chinese language, learning Chinese  |  4 Comments

We’ve been pretty quiet on the blogging front for a while, but we’ve been working really hard on creating new programs and courses to help you learn how to speak Chinese.

We’ve restructured our Conversational Chinese program into 6 levels that will take you systematically from zero to speaking like a local. We don’t like wasting our time and money learning the wrong thing or guessing if we’re speaking correctly, and we don’t think you should either, so each of these courses is live, with a native Chinese teacher who is able to correct your mistakes and explain language concepts.

Each Conversational Chinese course has been created to not just teach you the most relevant words and phrases, but also to incorporate lots of dialogues, exercises, and activities to help you practice actually using what you’re learning. Too many times classes are structured to cram as much information into us as possible, but, heaven forbid, you actually practice saying it!

In addition, we’ve also structured review and at regular intervals into each course, along with a couple of tests, to ensure you don’t forget and can gauge your own progress. No, we won’t send a report card home, so you can relax - tests are merely a tool to help us and you see where you’re doing well and where we need to work on.

With more and more business and focus shifting to China, it’s the perfect time to get started or continue learning Chinese. Take a FREE Chinese lesson to try us out and create a plan to help you learn to speak Chinese!

Below are the 6 levels for our Conversational Chinese program that will help beginners have simple conversations and advanced learners speak more like a native Chinese.

  • Level 1: Beginner’s Chinese - get around and survive in China
  • Level 2: Elementary Chinese - feel comfortable living in China
  • Level 3: Intermediate Chinese - express yourself and connect your thoughts better
  • Level 4: Advanced Spoken Chinese - express yourself more naturally
  • Level 5: Advanced Chinese - speak and understand formal Chinese, conduct business professionally
  • Level 6: Advanced Common Chinese Phrases - speak like a local
